How to Cast & Control Your Phone on Peloton
Mirror your phone's screen onto your Peloton and control it from the Peloton touchscreen using FitSwitch. Your phone streams to the Peloton over Wi-Fi — no cable between them.
Requirements
- FitSwitch installed on your Peloton (installation instructions)
- The free FitSwitch Bridge app on your phone or tablet (Android or iOS, including iPad)
- Your phone and Peloton on the same Wi-Fi network
Part 1: Cast Your Phone to the Peloton
Step 1: Open the FitSwitch Bridge app
Launch the FitSwitch Bridge app on your phone or tablet. On the opening screen, choose Cast (not Bridge). Cast mode mirrors your screen and leaves Bluetooth free for accessories.

Step 2: Show the Cast code on your Peloton
On the Peloton, press and hold the FitSwitch version number in the corner of the FitSwitch screen to open the menu, then tap Cast (show QR). A QR code appears.
Step 3: Scan the code with your phone
In the phone app, tap Cast Screen, then Scan QR, and point your camera at the QR code on the Peloton. (You can also tap Enter address manually and paste the code shown under the QR.)
Step 4: Approve screen sharing
Your device will ask permission to record/share your screen. On Android, choose Share entire screen and tap Next (then Start now if prompted). On iPhone/iPad, tap Start Broadcast.

Step 5: You're mirroring
Your device's screen now shows full-screen on the Peloton — with your cadence, power, and resistance overlaid on top. Open any app. To stop, tap Stop Casting. The next time you cast, it reconnects automatically — just tap Cast Screen.

Part 2: Control Your Phone From the Peloton Screen
Once you're casting, you can tap and swipe on the Peloton touchscreen to control your phone.
Android phones
Touch control works automatically once casting starts — the first time, the app will prompt you to enable "Screen control" (an accessibility permission). Tap the prompt, enable FitSwitch, and return to the app. After that, tapping the Peloton screen controls your phone.
iPhone and iPad
Screen control from the Peloton is coming soon on iPhone and iPad. Casting works today — your screen mirrors to the Peloton and your metrics overlay on top — and touchscreen control from the Peloton is in active development. In the meantime, control your iPhone or iPad the usual way (from the device itself) while it's cast to the big screen.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Can't find the Peloton / "not found": Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network (and ideally the same band). Re-open the Cast QR on the Peloton and scan again.
- Choppy or laggy video: Move closer to your router or switch both devices to 5 GHz Wi-Fi. A congested network is the usual cause.
- Nothing appears after approving: Confirm the FitSwitch app is on the Peloton and open, and that you tapped Start now / Start Broadcast on the phone.
- Android control isn't working: Make sure you enabled the "Screen control" accessibility permission when prompted (or in Android Settings → Accessibility → FitSwitch).
- Controlling from an iPhone/iPad: Screen control from the Peloton is coming soon on iOS — for now, cast the screen and control the device directly.
- Want your metrics too: Your cadence, power, and heart-rate overlay still shows on top of the mirrored screen — no extra setup.
