How to Close Apps

Some apps don't have a visible close or exit button — here's how to close them

Closing a Third-Party App

Some apps installed through FitSwitch may not have an obvious close button or exit option. To close any app:

  1. Return to the FitSwitch app — press the back button or navigate back to the FitSwitch home screen
  2. Long-press (press and hold) the icon of the app you want to close — hold for about 1–2 seconds
  3. A popup menu will appear with options including Force Close App and Uninstall App
  4. Tap Force Close App to completely close the app

Closing the FitSwitch App Itself

To completely close the FitSwitch app, you have two options:

  • Hold the version number for 5 seconds in the lower-right corner of the FitSwitch screen. After 5 seconds, a menu will appear — select Force Close to close FitSwitch entirely.
  • Press the Peloton logo at the bottom of the screen to return to the main Peloton app, which also closes FitSwitch.
