Heart Rate Monitor Connection
Connect your heart rate monitor to FitSwitch for real-time HR tracking across all your fitness apps.
Requirements
- FitSwitch installed on your Peloton
- A heart rate monitor that broadcasts using ANT/ANT+ (chest strap or arm band
Step 1: Access Heart Rate Settings
From the FitSwitch home screen, look at the bottom left corner of the screen. You'll see the heart rate status indicator showing "Heart Rate: Not Connected".
Tap on this text to open the heart rate monitor selection dialog.
Step 2: Select Your Heart Rate Monitor
A dialog will appear titled "Select HR Monitor". FitSwitch will automatically scan for nearby heart rate monitors.

When your heart rate monitor is detected, it will appear in the list with its device ID (e.g., "Device: 4120"). Tap on your device to connect.
Step 3: Confirm Connection
Once connected, the bottom left corner will update to show your device name and your current heart rate will appear in the metrics bar at the bottom of the screen.

Tips
- Can't find your device? Make sure your heart rate monitor is turned onΒ
- Connection drops? Ensure your heart rate monitor has fresh batteries and is within range of your Peloton.
- HR shows in apps: Once connected to FitSwitch, your heart rate data will automatically be available in compatible apps like Zwift, TrainerRoad, and Rouvy.
- Persistent connection: FitSwitch remembers your heart rate monitor and will automatically reconnect on future sessions.
- Press Clear if you want to remove all saved Heart Rate Monitors

- Polar H10, H9, OH1
- Garmin HRM-Pro, HRM-Dual
- Wahoo TICKR, TICKR X, TICKR FIT
- Scosche Rhythm+, Rhythm 24
- Most generic ANT+ Heart Rate Monitors
